However, our eyes can still jump to 0 for whatever number on the spec sheet. So it’s not absurd to ask if a Ferrari 488 Pista can defeat the Porsche 911 Turbo S and / or the Lamborghini Huracan Performante in a quarter mile. The supercar battle in five rounds
The 911 Turbo S is actually the king of Carwow drag racing. It was never defeated, although it faced a serious challenge from the Audi RS3. On the other hand, the 488 Pista was recently beaten by the BMW M5 Competition with 800 hp. Meanwhile, Huracán Performante has the best audio track among the three.
Two draw competitions, two rolling races and a braking match were held. In the drag races, Porsche, Lamborghini and Ferrari took first, second and third places, respectively. But in the rolling races (30 and 50 mph) and the braking competition, 488 Pista dominated, followed by the 911 Turbo S and Huracan Performante.
Expectations betrayed, but the specifications tell the truth
The 3,053 lb 488 Pista was expected to dominate all races due to its power and weight advantage; Its 3.9-liter V8 biturbo engine delivers 710 hp and 568 lb-ft. From peak torque. With power transmitted only to the rear wheels, the 488 Pista couldn’t keep up with the prowess of its four-wheel drive rivals.
