This is the strange moment when a customer whips her underwear to use as a face mask after staff warned her that she wouldn’t be served without her.
The unknown woman was photographed At Pick n Pay supermarket in South Africa after a security guard asked her to wear a face mask.
She claimed not to have one, but after threatening to get her from the grocery store, the woman reached out from under her dress and ripped her pants to use instead.
In the clip, the woman can be seen in a long paisley dress and sandals waiting in line to get outside.
A guard approaches her slowly before exchanging words.
Suddenly, the indignant customer bowed and reached to her dress, to reach her underwear.
Hold it before it slips onto her feet and put it on her face.
Other customers appear surprised and yell, “What’s the matter?”
The confusion continues when the agent puts his thumb in the direction of the guards and asks, “Are you happy?”

In December 2020, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa claimed that not wearing a face mask in public was a crime.
He said that anyone without a mask could be arrested and tried.
“If found guilty, they face a fine or imprisonment of up to six months, or both a fine and imprisonment.”
