What a strange week …
Who knew a year ago it would be our last normal week for a very long time.
Now the finishing touches are usually done. The operators have finished assembling the trips and our loyal food stall groups are loading their trailers to serve the food you can look forward to all year long.
Carnival staff and volunteers roam the festival like busy bees to make sure everything is in place and ready to go smoothly, so you can focus on enjoying all the fun you can have during your spring break.
It’s so sad to see the street so empty that a lot of the chaos and fun happen naturally. But this very difficult decision was taken from the perspective of society as a whole. For the sake of everyone’s health and safety, we hope that you will understand our precautions.
With the changes and challenges that everyone has gone through during the past year, this is just another small obstacle that must be overcome before returning next year along with her desire to serve the community cheerfully.
We’ll be missing everyone’s face this week, but we’re looking forward to seeing community in other ways together next year until Carnival returns to town.
