Shopping Center – Westfield Mall of the Dutch in Leidschendam will officially open its doors tomorrow Saturday 5 June. Almost all locations within this unique shopping center in the Netherlands will be ready after that. So the IT theatre, cinema and many entertainment venues are open.

Westfield Mall, Netherlands is a fully indoor shopping and experience center of 117,000 square metres. With the opening of Het Eettheater and 14 restaurants, from local entrepreneurs to famous diners, Westfield now offers the integrated experience it was meant to be. “We are delighted to finally be able to fully open the doors with our dining and entertainment space and offer visitors a full day out,” said Tyon Koek, manager of Westfield Mall, Netherlands.

    eat theater

The new Eet Theater is an example of the latest generation of F&B destinations. It consists of three components: entertainment, including Kinepolis, O’Learys, and Gamestate, and upscale restaurants, including Tatsu, Wagamama, and F&B – a central plaza with a bar and food stalls. The Eat Theater houses a mixture of local and international restaurants and serves a variety of tastes. Tatsu focuses on the taste of modern Japanese cuisine. Ohana Streetfood brings the freshest and most authentic flavors from the beaches of Hawaii. Laffa Restaurant serves Middle Eastern street food. Manneken Pis serves up fresh French fries for a quick appetizer. La Catrina brings traditional flavors and family recipes to the Eat Theatre. Some other restaurants, including The Butcher and pizza attraction Toni Loco, will open later in July.

    day out

Now that the Eet Theater has opened, Westfield Mall of the Netherlands is now guaranteed to spend a full day outside. Numerous flagship stores, high-quality architecture (MVSA Architecten led by Roberto Mayer), distinctive catering establishments, special events and a wide range of leisure activities make Westfield a special location in the Netherlands. In the enclosed space, the experience is central and with the opening of the Kinepolis Cinema, O’Leary’s with Bowling, Gamestate Arcade, and Instagram Youseum, there is also plenty of entertainment.
