After five Bond movies, Sean Connery has had enough. Australian model George Lazenby grabbed the 007 stick.

MI6 M head sends James Bond (Lazenby) to the Swiss Alps. Director Specter Blofeld (Telly Savalas) runs a research lab there where only amazing women work.
007 must find out what Blofeld is doing with his lab, and those ladies. Between acts, he also has time to go skateboarding and fall in love (for the first time!) with Tracy (Diana Rigg).
In addition to all the feminine beauty in it On Her Majesty’s Secret Service There’s also room for other Bond classics: beautiful cars, beautiful locations, and Q tools (Desmond Llewelyn).
George Lazenby
Before it was George Lazenby On Her Majesty Secret Service Not just his first Bond movie: It was his first acting job in the first place. And he didn’t get the role in the usual way.
In a suit with Sean Connery’s haircut, Lazenby was able to arrange a meeting with producers Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman and director Peter R. Hunt. In that conversation, he lied that he had extensive acting experience.
When he was allowed to take a screen audition, Lazenby had to admit to Hunt that he wasn’t an actor at all. He replied curtly: “You have managed to deceive two of the most ruthless men in the world of cinema. You are an actor.”
