The United States has announced its roster for the Olympic basketball tournament in Tokyo. Two-time gold medalist Kevin Durant leads Team USA, which is on track to win a fourth consecutive Olympic title.
The US roster is a mixture of veterans and veterans. Gold medalists Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Kevin Love bring experience to the team.
Durant and Green were part of the roster that won gold at the Rio 2016 Games. Durant and Love were in attendance in London, where the Americans also took the gold.
Through his roster, the Brooklyn Nets star became the fourth American basketball player to represent his country at the Games 3 times.
There are some notable absentees among Americans. This season’s top scorer Stephen Curry, LeBron James and James Harden are missing. However, the United States is again preferred for the title.
