World Cup qualifiers
The locations of the four qualifying tournaments for the World Cup in February 2022 are known. The Belgian cats have to go to Japan (Osaka), Washington (America) or Serbia (two tournaments in Belgrade) to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Australia.
The draw is on Sunday and then the Belgian cats will know the three opponents and where they hope to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, which will take place in Australia/Sydney from September 22 to October 1.
Sixteen countries from four groups will participate in the World Cup qualifiers in Osaka, Washington and Belgrade. The top three from each group secure the World Cup. Host nation and Olympic champion Australia has already qualified for the World Cup. Only two countries from their group qualify for the World Cup. The World Cup qualifiers will take place from February 10 to 13.
The Belgian Cats are looking for their second consecutive World Cup participation. In their debut at the 2017 World Cup in Tenerife, they secured an impressive fourth place after a massive tournament.
