OnePlus was releasing the update to OxygenOS 12 (Android 12) earlier this month for its flagship, the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. Although it should have been a stable operating system, many users have identified bugs, errors, and many issues. The update was discontinued within a few hours, with OnePlus promising to deliver a bug-free version. Today we found out that it has arrived and will reach all OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro users. Details below.
The first update was delivered as a build c 36. However, the new update comes in the form of a build c 39. So, if you have a OnePlus 9 series phone and have already updated to C.36, you should install C.39 via OTA as soon as possible. This update will resolve issues that users have reported in the past. However, if you haven’t moved to Android 12 yet, it’s a good idea to wait a few days to see if the latest version is stable and bug-free.
OnePlus mentioned that it fixed common problems and errors reported by users. I remind you that the first design did not allow users to use mobile data, notifications were not visible, there were malfunctions in normal use and even flickering in the case of the screen. These bugs are now fixed, but others are still minor. For example, autofill does not work in Chrome.
As usual, we’re talking about an update being delivered in waves via OTA, so it could take a few days for it to reach all OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro users respectively.
