How do you know which version of Windows you are using

There’s Windows 7, 8.1, 10 or 11 and we’ll show you how to find out which version you’re using. If your operating system is Windows 7, we recommend you to upgrade as this version is no longer supported! It is also important to know which version you are using, eg h. Whether it is the Home or Pro version. Some features are only available to you in Windows Pro, such as BitLocker, which allows you to encrypt your storage drive. No matter what information you need, finding out which Windows you’re using is easy. You can do this in several ways:
Method 1: Use this My Computer icon on the desktop

Here you will find information about the version of Windows you are using
If you right-click this My Computer icon on the Windows desktop, you can choose Properties. System settings window will appear. Under Windows Specifications, you can find the Windows version (approx: 21H1) and the version (Windows Pro or Home). Including the OS build number.
This assumes “This PC” is already displayed on the desktop. You can enable icon display via “Desktop Icon Settings” (under “Settings, Personalization & Themes then “Desktop Icon Settings”).
Method 2: Via Windows Search

In the System Information window you will also find all the information about the version of Windows in use
Press the Windows key on your keyboard or click the start icon in the taskbar, then type “system.” System Information should appear in the search results. When you click on it, a window with the version and version of Windows will appear.
Method 3: Via Settings
Click the start icon in the taskbar or press the Windows key on your keyboard and type “computer info” and click the search result. Then in the new window, scroll down to “Windows Specifications

Method 6: From the playback window

Press Windows key + R on your keyboard, and the Run window will appear. Type “winver” in the text box, then press Enter. In the center of the window is the copyright information for the version and version of Windows.
