LeBron James Record Richest. The Los Angeles Lakers scored 26 points in the first leg against the Golden State Warriors, enough to replace Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the top scorer calculated over the course of the regular season and NBA playoffs. The win for the Warriors was: 117-115.
Abdul-Jabbar reached 44,149 between 1969 and 1989, and James is now 44,157. In the most famous standings of top scorers in the regular season, James is still 1,861 points behind Abdul-Jabbar. This list is more fair because the difference in the number of matches played gives a distorted picture.
“It’s incredible and unbelievable,” Lakers coach Frank Vogel said of James’ achievement. “I think it’s the best ever.”
Golden State continued in the footsteps of the Phoenix Suns during the victory. He also won Western Conference leaders for the 46th time this season. Orlando Magic lost 132-105. Golden State has 42 wins.
