LeBron James has made a great comeback to the NBA. The 37-year-old American has missed the last five games with a knee injury, but returned to the Los Angeles Lakers against the New York Knicks. He led his team to a difficult victory: 122-115 with the so-called triple-double (29 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists).
The Lakers were 15 points behind midway through the game, but they fought back mainly thanks to a strong third quarter. Additional time was required as the score was tied after the regulation time (111-111). In the extra five minutes, the Los Angeles team won.
James said. “It was nice to be back on the field with the boys.” The Lakers have lost nine of their previous 13 NBA games and will have to work hard in the coming weeks to make it to the playoffs.
The Phoenix Suns, the best performing team of the season, recovered from Thursday’s loss to the Atlanta Hawks after 11 consecutive wins. The Suns scored their 42nd win this season against the Wizards in Washington: 95-80.
