Heading into another NAC golf season by hosting Madrid-Waddington at St. Lawrence State Park, Matt Morley has been looking to the Blue Devils to explore the process of developing the depth behind the trio of Ethan Bouchard, Jack Mills and Nick. . The process began quickly as Michael Myers and Andrew Doser fired in the 44th and 46th to complete 39 medals for Bouchard and 41 for Mills and Macroberts. Gabe Clarke scored 48 of OFA’s lineup and added Nate Woods and Frank Beach 48 and 52 on display.
Kyle Murphy and Drew Harmer turned in rounds 43 and 45 to lead the MW and Caleb Hayden finished at 55.
“The kids played really well, it was a great first game of the year,” said coach Morley.
In other matches of the day: Salmon River beat Clifton Fine 245-316 led by 44th medalist Evan Collette, Massena beat Malone 222-234 at a Colin Patterson pace of 36, Lake Topper beat Colton-Pierpont 276-298 with medal 42 by William LaPierre and Kahn Canton took 38 from Sam Sieminski and 40 from Ryan Jones to take a 250-296 win for Norwood-Norfolk who took the low round of the day in competition from Jace Dutch who finished 34 at Raymondville Country Club.
