Keizer, originally from Koekange, started his company at the end of 2017, when he was still studying business economics at Hanze University of Applied Sciences. His teachers looked at him with pity when he suggested he start selling screws and hardware online. persist.

At first, he traded from home and brought his trade to PostNL by bike. Trade expanded steadily. The company has moved three times in the past five years. According to Keizer, the secret is to sell online customers exactly what they need.
New building plans
Now Wovar is located in Emdenweg, where the building completely burned down on Saturday. In April, Keizer already reported that his company had new buildings built in the Westpoort Industrial Estate on the A7 motorway. The building, with an area of 8000 square meters, will be ready by the end of this year.
In March Wovar won the FD Gazellen Silver Award in a small class in the North Holland. The company now supplies just under 10,000 items in eight different European countries.
