The Britpop Pulp legend is on tour and can be seen on various British stages in 2023. There are no indications at the moment that the band will move to Europe. But hopefully, the “common public” will finally be heard again in the Netherlands in the summer of 2023.
The rumors have been in the air for some time. A Pulp reunion is set for 2023. The group will play dozens of shows in the UK next year, including Isle Of Wight and Latitude. Additionally, the band is a serious rumor for Glastonbury. Where singer Jarvis introduced Cocker this year. Since the tour is currently set, there is a chance that Pulp will be seen at Down The Rabbit Hole, Best Kept Secret, or, only later in the season, in the Lowlands.
after 22 years
Pulp played his last show on Dutch soil at the Lowlands 2001. Can the Sheffield Group fill an Alpha or Heineken ship after 22 years? After July 20, the agenda, as it is now, will be empty.
The group was formed around striker Jarvis Cocker in 1978. However, the great success came only when the band debuted in the mid-90s with the songs “Common People” and “Disco 2000”. The band broke up indefinitely in 2002. But they did a reunion tour in 2011 and 2012 that included Sziget, Tandem Reading & Leeds, and Glastonbury.
