US airline JetBlue has announced that it will operate daily flights from New York to Curacao starting next year.
While the frequency of flights was increased to five times a week last season, JetBlue will fly daily between New York and Curacao starting in February 2024. With the increased frequency, JetBlue is strengthening its position in the Caribbean and responding to growing demand from the United States, which may increase further due to the launch of JetBlue flights. Recently between New York and Amsterdam.
However, these trips do not connect flawlessly. Flights from Amsterdam, assuming they also continue during the summer season, will arrive in the United States at the end of the afternoon. Flights to Curacao then depart at 8 a.m., so transit travelers will have to spend the night in the Big Apple. However, Curaçao’s Minister of Economic Development, Ruisandro Segente, is very happy with the expansion of the number of flights. “This is an important milestone to continue improving our tourism sector in 2024 and will boost our economy.”
