A 65-year-old woman has apparently fallen victim to a scammer on an online sales platform. She wanted to buy a mobile phone, but was then asked twice to transfer hundreds of euros.

An anonymous person posed as a woman on an online sales platform and wanted to sell a mobile phone. After a 65-year-old woman from the Klagenfurt Land area heard about the ad, she called the stranger and wanted to buy the phone. She then transferred several hundred euros, but was then asked to transfer several hundred euros again. The amount initially agreed upon will not correspond to reality and the value of the cell phone will be much higher. However, the 65-year-old stopped paying and filed a complaint.
