Suleiman was a co-founder of AI pioneer DeepMind, which was acquired by Google in 2014. He left the internet company in 2022 and was a founder of the startup Inflection AI, which developed the chatbot Pi. Another co-founder, Karen Simonyan, also goes to Microsoft AI and becomes chief scientist there. Meanwhile, Inflection AI wants to focus on developing AI chatbots for businesses in the future.
