The autobiography of actress Rebel Wilson (44 years old) was republished in the United Kingdom and Australia a few weeks after it was released in other countries. The book will be published there in modified form. The clips relating to her allegedly unpleasant work experience with comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, 52, have been edited out.
The book was pulled from shelves in the United Kingdom and its native Australia shortly after its release. At the time it was reported that this was done so that the new release date would coincide with its promotional tour. It now appears that the book had to be edited for “legal reasons.” Publisher HarperCollins says some passages have been deleted or edited and have been explained Watchman.
The rebels have not yet responded to the news. Sacha Baron Cohen's spokesperson is happy with the changes. “Harper Collins did not fact-check this chapter in the book prior to publication and took the reasonable but too late step of removing Rebel Wilson’s defamatory claims once evidence was presented that they were false.”
