Animals can get into trouble anywhere in the world, including the Kingdom. We see unconditional love and care for animals of all kinds. This also applies to Aruba.
Crijojo Trappers is a shelter that takes dogs and other animals off the street, takes care of them, neuteres and spays them and then brings them back. In this episode of Expeditie Nederland, correspondent Patricia Crone spends a day with the shelter's founder, Jacqueline Bodéry, and other volunteers from the shelter.
The organization Boderie recently made news when it was involved in the discovery of the badly neglected dog Khaleesi, leading to public outrage and major social controversy.
Expedition Netherlands
Regional broadcasters and the Caribbean Network work together on the TV show Expeditie Nederland. Each week there is a topic completed by four regional broadcasters. Various topics are discussed. From history and culture to current issues and care. The perspectives of fourteen different broadcasters provide a picture of the kingdom as a whole.
