Avatar: The Last Airbender On Netflix
We don't know much about this series yet. It's still unclear how long the project has been in production and when we can expect the first episode. But at least Friedlander is happy with it so far.
He points out that it will be a visual spectacle:
“These shows are very large productions and take a lot of time both on the production side and in post-production, so you have to respect the long journey that some of these shows have taken to deliver what has never been done before on television. And that's what we have for a lot of These types of shows when we're working on, whether it's 'Avatar' or 'One Piece' or 'Three-Body Trouble,' they're big visual shows that you have to respect and honor the process.”
Netflix is therefore giving production time for development Avatar: The Last Airbender To create the visual spectacle the franchise deserves. This is only good news, of course. In the meantime, we can enjoy the original animated series on Netflix.
