Guy Sebastian will perform at the Eurovision Song Contest on December 12 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. The singer is one of Australia’s biggest male artists, with over 1.1 billion streams and 82 platinum awards. In 2015, he placed fifth at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna with his song Tonight Again. This will be Guy Sebastian’s first time on stage at the Eurovision Song Contest and his fourth performance in Amsterdam. Another headliner is Swedish singer Loreen, who has won the Eurovision Song Contest twice.
In 2015, Australia was allowed to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest. Singer, songwriter and producer Guy Sebastian, who won Australian Idol in 2003, was the first to represent his country. “Representing Australia at Eurovision for the first time was a huge honour, and now on December 12, I will be performing at the biggest Eurovision concert ever,” says Guy Sebastian. “Obviously I will be singing my European hit, Tonight, again.” Sebastian is one of Australia’s biggest male artists, with over 1.1 billion streams and 82 platinum awards to his name. He is also the only Australian singer to have six No. 1 hits. Since 2019, Guy Sebastian has been a member of the famous red-chair judges on The Voice Australia, including alongside Kelly Rowland, Boy George and Adam Lambert.
In addition to Guy Sebastian, Swedish singer Loreen will also perform. Together with Johnny Logan, who will also sing, they have been dubbed Queen and King of Eurovision after their multiple wins. This year’s winner Nemo will also be coming to Amsterdam on December 12. Other Eurovision participants in the Great Eurovision Party are Käärijä (number 2 2023), Baby Lasagna (number 2 2024), Katrina & the Waves (winner 1997), Nicole (winner 1982), Verka Serduchka (number 2 2007), Go_A, S10, Polly Genova, Jeon’s Tears and Kristian Kostov. More names from previous Eurovision winners will be announced soon.
This year's Eurovision Song Contest will take place at the Ziggo Dome on December 12. This is the fourth time the party has been organised. This year, the presentation is once again in the hands of Edsilia Rombli and Cornel Maas.
