Pierce Morgan is desperate to track down the people responsible for Paul Gascoigne’s robbery after police revealed they believed a tweet he posted could have been behind the robbery.
The former England, Newcastle and Tottenham legend had 140,000 pounds worth of items taken from his apartment while filming the life story of Pierce with his football rival and friend Vinnie Jones.
On Monday, Pearce revealed on Good Morning Britain that police believed a tweet he posted about Gazza’s presence on Life Stories could be how thieves knew he was not at home.
Speaking on the program, Pearce said, “Weird. He was in the audience last Monday. I posted a picture of Gaza in the audience, I didn’t think of anything.”
“It seems that while he was sitting there and that tweet was posted, the police fear that someone may have realized that he was not at home and saw the opportunity, which is very horrific for Paul.”
Calling people to track down the culprits, Pearce continued, “It’s very sad for Paul. What kind of person does that? You know what he’s been up to during the past few years ..”

“If you know what kind of person did it – I want to know who did it to Paul Gascoigne.”
“Nice folks, right? To enter the house of someone who’s been through what they have. So if we could find them, that would be cool.”
