A female driver was run over by her own car several times in Switzerland. The 45-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The unfortunate victim had parked her car in St. Gallen, northeastern Switzerland, with the engine running and got off. The city police announced that they likely did so to unload something. It is not entirely clear what happened after that.
According to eyewitnesses, the woman was standing behind her car when she began to roll over. I tried to stop the car. A few meters later, she fell and was run over by the car. The car continued to back away until it collided with another vehicle that was parked on the side of the road. Then the car sped forward again and rolled over the woman again. Then the car hit a barrier, swerved, and ran over the victim a third time. Only then did the car stop in front of the fence.
The police are checking. The vehicle in question was seized and towed.
