A suspected Al-Qaeda operative has been arrested from the Quila region of Bareilly district. The arrest was created on Thursday following the ATS crew got a tip-off that a person named Mohammed Shoeb a.k.a Abu Mohammed Ali, who has been fully radicalised by Al-Qaeda, was hoping to mobilise youths applying social media applications.
When an ATS staff from Lucknow, along with their neighborhood officer Manjeet Singh, raided a household in Bareilly, they identified the individual working the account was essentially Inamul Haq, 28, who lived there with his young brother.
‘Recovered evidence to set up Inamul’s relationship with Al-Qaeda’
Haq was unemployed and was energetic on numerous social media purposes less than distinctive names. He has been charged with various crimes by the ATS law enforcement station in Lucknow.
A member of the ATS team explained that, “We have recovered substantially proof to build Inamul’s relationship with Al-Qaeda. He was working with social media for diverting youths to terrorism. Our probe is on.”
Meanwhile, ATS sources mentioned that Inamul Haq has been introduced to Lucknow on transit remand. Offensive literature linked to Al-Qaeda has been identified to be stored in his cellular mobile phone which has been seized for even further investigations.
