Jürgen Locadia founded a new club in Bochum, Germany. The striker comes without transfers from Premier League club Brighton Hove and Albion and will sign until the summer of 2022. Lucadia has four employees since leaving PSV Eindhoven in 2018.
Lucadia from Drenthe made his debut at PSV Eindhoven in 2010 and has developed into an easy-to-scoring striker. After 176 games, in which he scored 62 goals, he moved to Brighton. His early period in the English port city was difficult. In August 2019, he left Lucadia for German club Hoffenheim on a lease basis.
After a second lease term at US club Cincinnati, the forward has returned to Brighton this season. However, in recent months, he could not count on his minutes of play. Lucadia’s contract with Brighton ran out this winter.
The second Bundesliga adventure
Bochum was promoted to Germany’s top level last season. Thomas Reese’s team has had a strong first half of the season and sits in 12th place. In eleven days, Lucadia could make his debut with his new employer, when Bochum resume competition with a home match against Wolfsburg.
