No fewer than 70,174 spectators watched FC Barcelona’s first-ever match in Australia on Wednesday. The Spanish club, who had been behind for 48 hours, won 2-3 in a friendly match in Sydney against the All Stars team of the A-League.
Barcelona played at the Accord Stadium, which has a capacity of 83,500 spectators.
Barcelona finished its season in the Spanish League last Sunday only. The two-day visit to Australia brings in about 5 million euros for the struggling club.
Barcelona fell 2-1 to the A-League All-Stars.

Frenkie de Jong came to Barcelona. Luke de Jong was in the starting lineup and was substituted over an hour later, Memphis Depay remained on the bench.
After the match, one of the fans managed to get into the stadium.
