BearingPoint, a management and technology consultancy, has announced plans to expand its existing partnership with IFS, the cloud business software company, into a joint venture. The newly formed company will provide services to support the continued increase in demand for IFS programmes.
After non-binding discussions between the parties, the launch of the joint venture will remain subject to employee information and established consultation procedures, customary merger control approvals and final documentation.
As an independent entity, the joint venture will operate as a unique organization focused on digital transformation enabled by IFS cloud software products. The new entity is expected to focus on opportunities in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. In each of these countries, BearingPoint and IFS will invest resources to lay the foundation for the business and ensure a positive start.
Both companies have a strong client base and have a proven track record of delivering successful projects and significant value to their clients over the past five years. BearingPoint is already an IFS Platinum Service Partner and won the 2020 IFS Global Systems Integrator Award and the 2021 IFS Growth Partner Award of the year.
