The exodus continues in the Belgian Legion Fortuna Sittard. After Tessa Wollaert, among others, left earlier, Didi Lemme will now also be active in a new competition in the new season. The West Flemish moves to Germany.
SV Werder Bremen Women's Bundesliga team has expanded its goalkeeping squad once again: Didi Lemme now joins the green and white team.
Head of department Berti Brugmann confirmed the 27-year-old's move on the German club's website: “Due to Catalina Perez's serious knee injury, we had to make changes to the goalkeeper position at short notice.”
From Netherlands to Germany
“We are therefore delighted that Diede has chosen Werder and completed our goalkeeping trio once again,” said Bruggemann. Diede Lemey herself is also looking forward to her new role at Weser.
“I am very happy to now be part of the Werder Bremen team and club. The anticipation for the first matches and meeting the fans is already great. I want to help the team as best I can and contribute to the team's success.”
After adventures with Sassuolo in the US, Mozzanica and Verona Ladies in Italy, and in the Netherlands with Fortuna Sittard, it is a new adventure in another country for the Belgian Red Flame. We wish them further success in Germany.
