The first part of the ninth round in the men’s Hovedklassie tulip brought victories to Rotterdam and Dutchman Blumendal. Rotterdam won 3-1 on a visit to Klein Zwizerland and Blumendal was too strong for Orange Road at home 3-0.

After six consecutive league games unbeaten, Klein Zwizzerland left empty-handed after the game against Rotterdam. Rotterdam were strong 3-1 at The Hague and took home their fifth straight win at Clatwig. The decision in the match came only in the final stage. Olivier Hortensius gave Rotterdam a tip, and then, after a last-minute counter-attack, Stegen van Heijingen managed to tip the ball into the empty KZ goal.

Bloemendaal made quick work of the match against Oranje-Rood, who also lost his previous five matches at t Kopje. The second quarter had barely begun when Dennis Warmerdam put the final score 3-0 on the board. With his eighth league goal, Thierry Brinkmann already put the Sparrows on the path to victory after six minutes. He is just four goals away from his 100th goal in the Eredivisie major. Blomendale has not lost in ten consecutive home matches due to the win. On home soil, the National Champion has lost only one of his last 37 matches (W32 V4).
