A few years ago, two live-action animated films were released, in which the famous cartoon character Garfield plays the main role. After a while, it will be time for a full animated movie in which we hear Chris Pratt as the fat orange cat.
Garfield was created by Jim Davis and appeared on the Telegraaf for 21 years. And the most vigilant newspaper in the Netherlands pulled the plug on the series in 2021. Maybe Garfield isn’t too worried about that. It is still very popular.

Samuel L. Jackson, Nicholas Hoult, and Cecily Strong also have voices in the animated film.
For Pratt, this is another vocal role in a major production. We heard him as Emmett Brickowski in Monday Lego movielike Barley Lightfoot in the Pixar movie unwanted And more recently he has acted as Mario in blockbuster films Super Mario Bros. film.
New Garfield
Although Garfield – of course – looks very distinct, you can see the new design below Garfield movie. The animated film from 20th Century Studios is scheduled for release in late May 2024.
