Coachella Festival 2022 revealed the full lineup! After several years of absence, the festival hopes to make a big comeback this year. Anyway, this is not the lineup. Harry Styles, Stromae, and Doja Cat, among others, have been added to the poster.
Previous rumors about Billie Eilish, Ye West and Swedish House Mafia were also confirmed. The three artists can be seen on the American Festival poster. Eilish is closed on Saturday, and West is the headline address on Sunday. Harry Styles wraps up the first day of the festival, which is Friday.
Although there are many new artists on the list, there are still some similarities with the posters of canceled editions. For example, Flume and Disclosure for 2021 has already been confirmed. Check out the full festival collection below on the poster.
Coachella Festival 2022 for vaccinated people
In August 2021, AEG, the second largest concert and festival organizer in the United States, reached a new rule. As of October 2021, their festivals can only be visited by fully vaccinated people. Since they are also organized by Coachella, this rule also applies to this festival.
“We understand some will find this move exciting, but it’s the only right move,” said Jay Marciano, AEG team leader. The festival organizer anticipates resistance, but assumes that they will “ultimately be on the right side of history and do what is best for the artists, fans and staff.” With its proactive stance, the company hopes to encourage Americans to get vaccinated.
