Oppo continues to roll out ColorOS 12 across its smartphone lineup. Now it’s the turn of the Oppo Reno 5 and Reno 6 to be able to taste them, but not yet in all countries.
Android 12 starts slowly, but surely is calling itself on more and more devices. Recently, the Galaxy S10 in particular had the right to a schedule release of this major update with OneUI 4. On the Oppo side, it has also been activated.
In France, the Chinese brand has slowly started updating its Oppo Find X3 Pro, the flagship of its current catalog. The manufacturer is now speeding up its pace by making ColorOS 12, based on Android 12, available on four more devices.
France is not yet involved
These are the Oppo Reno 5 5G, the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G, the Oppo Reno 6 5G and the Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G. Please note, however, France is not currently affected. This posting pertains to the list of Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, India, Vietnam and Pakistan XDA Developers.
However, we can expect Oppo to do the same in Europe, and thus France, in the coming weeks. For owners of one of the phones mentioned, stay tuned.
Watch out for bugs
Hopefully now this update won’t suffer from the same bugs found in OxygenOS 12, forcing OnePlus to suspend its rollout for six days. The two brands are part of the same group and their interfaces are scheduled to merge in 2022.
