Poem by Den Bush
The Den Hotel features a modern and elegant design that reflects the city’s historic canals. In addition to the water map of the city’s rivers (Binnendieze) in the logo, you can see organic shapes and flowing lines throughout the hotel.
The hotel is located in the newest popular area “Het Paleiskwartier” and connected by the footbridge “De Paleisbrug”. Guests can walk directly to the city centre. The name of The Den is an ode to the city of Den Bosch. “The Den combines local culture with global appeal,” says Melle van Uden, general manager. “We want to honor the historic fortified city and embrace the local Burgundian way of life. In addition, we want to introduce a new concept of Den Bosch, a modern and cosmopolitan concept that will attract international travelers to this attractive city.”
The Lifestyle Hotel offers elegant guestrooms, funky meeting rooms, a state-of-the-art “The Move” fitness center, two lively restaurants and three bustling bars. In particular the “Current Rooftop Restaurant & Bar”, a separate rooftop restaurant and sky bar on 9e floor. A brand new landmark for Den Bosch.
Silestone by Cosentino shines in the bar
Interior and furniture designers at HIP Studio and HomrisB8 deliberately chose a marble-look design for the bar. In addition to being chosen for its beautiful and fashionable appearance, Silestone by Cosentino was also chosen for its high quality. The hotel bar is used extensively and therefore the bar must meet the highest quality requirements. Silestone by Cosentino offers unique technical properties such as high resistance, hardness, ease of daily maintenance, high color consistency and unparalleled beauty.
water as a base
The hotel’s design and choice of styles match the water theme. It is a direct link to the water system that Den Bosch is famous for. The design and interior of the hotel was created by a good collaboration between the property owner Build to Built, HDVL Designmakers, HIP Studio and HomrisB8. Everywhere in the hotel you can see the flowing lines and organic shapes of the water. Like on the foil on the windows and in the beautiful blue and green color choices. In both the public spaces and the elegant rooms and suites, colors and shapes fit together seamlessly.
The Den has been fitted with the highest quality materials, down to the last detail. For example, high-quality materials from Cosentino were chosen. In addition to Cosentino’s selection for the bar, Silestone by Cosentino was also chosen for luxury bathrooms and public toilets. Additionally, the Dekton’s reception desk is finished by Cosentino, in a Domoos color.
Design rooms
Lifestyle Hotel offers elegant hotel rooms. The modern rooms provide an oasis of comfort with king-size beds, mobile access and an interactive TV. The beautiful green and blue color palette reflects the theme of water flowing throughout the hotel. The bathrooms are fully equipped with high quality sanitary ware from Duravit in combination with washbasin baths from Silestone by Cosentino, in the color Silestone Charcoal Soapstone. For more space and the best view, stay in one of the junior suites in the corner of the hotel, with large windows overlooking the “Bossche Broek” Nature Reserve and the city.
