Dell announced the XPS 13 Plus, a high-performance laptop that is probably one of the most beautiful business laptops presented at CES 2022.
XPS 13 Plus is designed to be simple and modern. The keyboard, layout, touchpad, and palm rest offer a sleek look, complemented by curved edges that are ergonomic from one end to the other. The keyboard with larger keys (also known as grid) is comfortable and efficient. The top row of the keyboard is now cleaner, thanks to capacitive touch buttons (a kind of touch bar on a Mac) that let you easily switch between modes and function keys. The traditional trackpad has been replaced by a glass touchpad, which provides haptic responses.
Dell XPS 13 Plus is the first XPS 13 built with a 12th generation Intel Core 12W processor (up from 15W in the previous generation), powered by larger fans that deliver 55% better airflow without increasing noise or temperature. The Dell XPS 13 Plus is 15.2mm thick and weighs 1.24kg
The screen resolution can go up to 4K, and the OLED screen (an LCD version will also be available) comes with an Eyesafe feature that reduces harmful blue light. The InfinityEdge display continues to provide an almost frameless viewing experience. Dell has reduced the number of layers in the monitor to improve clarity and reduce weight. For entertainment, Dell also introduced four speakers on the XPS 13 Plus.

It is also the first XPS to be manufactured using renewable energy sources of hydropower, significantly reducing aluminum’s carbon footprint and is 100% recyclable, so it can be reused in new computers, meeting Dell’s 2030 goals.
XPS 13 Plus will be available worldwide in Spring 2022 with Windows 11 or Ubuntu 20.04 Developer Edition. Prices will be confirmed as the delivery date approaches.
