The 34-year-old also participated in another tournament in the Serbian capital, the Serbia Open, last month. Then he had to recognize his boss in the Russian Aslan Karatsev in the semi-final battle.
In the run-up to Roland Garros, Djokovic, who won the Australian Open in February, could claim his second title this season. In the final, world number one will play Alex Mulcan from Slovakia, who was Argentine coach Federico Delbonis 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.
The final match will be held in Parma between the Italians Marco Chicinato and Sebastian Korda of the United States. Chikinato was better than Spaniard Jaume Munnar with a score of 7-6 (2) 1-6 6-1, while Korda defeated his compatriot Tommy Ball 6-3 6-3.
Roland Garros starts on Sunday.
