The Xiaomi Mi A3 is arguably the company’s most troublesome smartphone in terms of software updates.
Xiaomi released important updates to it several times, then remembered it, then did it again, and again not without problems.
And now with the next update, the problems are again. The release of Android 11 was initially a pleasant surprise for Mi A3 owners, because despite the attitude towards the Android One software, this device had not been previously updated in the front. However, the early lucky ones soon realized that they were happy early on. After the update, some users encountered the fact that their device simply shut down.
It is not yet clear how many of these users have already accumulated, but there are clearly enough of them for Xiaomi itself to appeal to Mi A3 owners with an appeal not to update to Android 11, even if their device receives the appropriate firmware.
If you get the Android 11 update, ignore it for a while (don’t update). Some people have reported that after updating to Android 11, their devices lock and won’t start, so stay tuned
Hence, it is better to wait and not risk it.
