Share account information
A search was conducted into the mutual exchange of video streaming services account information. This showed that 34% of Dutch viewers view someone else’s account. Younger generations, Generation Z and Millennials, often share login details for accounts. Then there are about 23% of Dutch people who do not use streaming services at all. Remain faithful to the original linear TV viewing. Meanwhile, Netflix is trying the so-called share an account Against her, because she really shouldn’t.
For example, Netflix has already started analyzing user data. It mainly looks at the devices used for broadcasting and the times at which they are broadcast. This allows the streaming service to see how subscribers use Netflix and whether they share their account with others. The series and movie provider wants to impose customer-friendly restrictions to reduce account involvement. Netflix is losing some sales, not just a few.
