Arnhem, 16 November 2023 – On Thursday 23 November 2023, EIFFEL projects are organizing a photo exhibition in cooperation with Dronewatch at the Team EIFFEL club in Arnhem. This was in response to the “Netherlands in Drone Flight” drone photo contest. The competition gives Dutch drone photographers the opportunity to prove their prowess and at the same time draw attention to major construction and infrastructure projects in the Netherlands.
EIFFEL projects are part of the EIFFEL team and play a crucial role in solving the complex quality of life puzzle that awaits our country. In other words: EIFFEL projects make the Netherlands more future-proof. This means working passionately on, among other things, sustainable infrastructure, safe dams, regional development and energy transition.
To capture and share this proud work of the physical environment in a creative way, EIFFEL Projects, in collaboration with Dronewatch, is organizing a drone photo contest where photographers literally unleash their creativity. Five photographers are participating in the competition and are challenged to take a photo under the themes of “Mobility and Traffic,” “Residential Areas and Cityscapes,” and “Sustainability and Energy Transition.”
Jury Prize and Audience Prize
Two winners will be announced during the exhibition on November 23: the jury winner and the overall winner. None other than Wiebe de Jager is a member of the professional jury, which judges the works of art in terms of originality, creativity, composition and quality. De Jager is the founder of Dronewatch and the author of Drone Photography and Making Drone Videos. He is a certified drone pilot (RPA-L) and has a full ROC clearance. In the fall of 2018, De Jager was an instructor and jury member of the TV show “Drone Masters”.
To win the Audience Award, drone photographers must collect as many online votes as possible. Everyone is invited to cast their votes via this website. In addition, consultants from EIFFEL projects also play a key role during the general competition. They also voted on the nominated photos, and their vision of the future Netherlands was, among other things, the reason behind organizing the drone photo contest.
exhibition
The exhibition begins on November 23 with a drink and a snack, followed by an introduction to the participants. Afterwards, drone expert Wiebe de Jager will give an inspiration session. Visitors are then allowed to view all the artworks and meet the photographers, and finally the winners are announced. All information about the exhibition can be found on the Netherlands Drone Flight website.
