It’s another stroke of luck for Cuomo, who is not yet out of his legal troubles. Recently, the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office also ruled that the former governor had not committed a criminal offense. He had also sexually harassed one of the two women there.
However, there are still several pending cases against Cuomo. These began after New York Attorney General Letitia James issued a report in August that concluded he sexually harassed 11 women, including former employees.
The report said two cases of inappropriate behavior occurred in Westchester County. He is said to have forced an officer there to let him kiss her and would have taken another woman into a school without her permission and kissed her on the cheek.

The report cost Cuomo his job, though he has consistently denied the allegations. According to him, “reasonableness” had disappeared and the attack on him was politically motivated. He admitted that his behavior had been “misunderstood”. He said he joked and made comments “in a fun way.”
“I understand now that given my position, these comments came out as wrong and gave others a feeling that I wasn’t after that at all,” Cuomo said at the time. “I realize that some of the things I’ve said may have been misinterpreted as unwelcome flirting. If someone offended that, I’m sorry. I never intended to disrespect a woman and I accept responsibility.
