Fast and Furious 9 is one of the biggest movies we got in the Netherlands this summer. July 8 for our party, but in countries like China, Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, the movie can already be seen and the numbers are groundbreaking. In China, F9 crossed the magic barrier of $ 100 million and now stands at $ 139 million. With this huge amount, the movie also managed to set a record during the pandemic.
In other countries, the movie grossed between 2 and 10 million dollars, which is also high, but not all of them are as impressive as in China. The film can also be seen in the US since this week and will premiere in the Netherlands on July 8.
Lower Review Score for Fast and Furious 9
Fast and Furious 9 has managed to do well in the financial arena, but the reviews, on the other hand, are slightly lower than the previous parts. For example, Maoyan, a Chinese movie site similar to IMDb, states that the movie scored 7.6 while all F&F movies scored 9 or higher.
It might be wrong, but the movie could be less fun than the previous ones. It’s natural to assume that despite the pandemic, we’d be presented with a great action movie and an equally fun distraction.
