Max Verstappen made history on Sunday with his victory at Circuit Zandvoort. The world champion achieved his ninth consecutive victory, level with Sebastian Vettel. But will he also get the record on his own? That will become clear next weekend, when the Italian Grand Prix is on the programme. Here you can read when you should be ready to watch TV or our live blogs.
The race at Monza is the 14th of a total of 23 Grands Prix this season. It’s the last showdown on European soil, because after that Formula 1 settles in Singapore, Japan, Qatar, the United States (twice), Mexico, Brazil and the United Arab Emirates.
That means we’ll have to deal with the European Times one last time, although qualifying on Saturday will be an hour later than last weekend in Zandvoort (4pm instead of 3pm). The race at the legendary Autodromo Nazionale di Monza is at 3pm.
Nobody doubts that Verstappen will secure his third world title this season. With his win in Italy, he can almost touch the trophy. Read here for when the fight can finally be decided.
