Alsamir – On Thursday, September 7, the friends of Saskia Vincevik will be organizing an auction in the Historical Garden. All proceeds from the auction will go to the crowdfunding campaign currently underway for Saskia. Items to be auctioned vary from a 25-person cruise to beautiful plants, delicious bottles of wine, restaurant vouchers, photo shoots, a two-hour handyman and, among other things, tickets to The Billy Joel Experience. All the items have been sincerely promised by the people and middle class who have a warm heart for Saskia. There are a limited number of spaces available on the exhibit in the Historic Garden Auction Room, so if you want to be there, email [email protected]. This way you are guaranteed a place in this very interesting event in which the Saskia Veenswijk movement is central. The auction starts at seven in the evening
treatment in Australia
After years of health problems that featured fatigue and increasing pain, thirteen years ago Saskia was diagnosed with ME (myalgic encephalomyelitis, often referred to as fatigue syndrome). So Saskia spends most of her time in bed or on the sofa. Later, Suskis was diagnosed with tick sickness, a bacterial infection caused by a tick bite. Tinnitus, infections, muscle pain, brain fog, and the inability to walk take a toll on Saskia’s life every day. Saskia’s greatest passion, making music, only succeeds on good days and then only when everyone else has taken care of everything.
In the Netherlands, Saskia has been treated regularly, but all hope is now pinned on a treatment developed in Australia that will give Saskia the chance to make a full recovery. Her friends Lindsey, Nikki, Lisa and Niske started the crowdfunding campaign for this treatment, stay, caregiving and travel. A large amount has already been raised (approximately 17,000 euros), but the total amount of treatment is 38,000 euros.
