nice place
[swiet-spot] • EinglishMeaning in golf language: the center of the front of the club. In other words: the best place on your team of 14 where you have to hit the ball. Of course you have to aim well.
vacation!
Vacations are great summer entertainment and how can we spend the summer months if we don’t have golf? no! Italian tour player Francesco Laporta doesn’t want to think about a week-long vacation without golf. This swimming pool is excellent for continuing to work out your weaknesses.
You don’t need all this much: a few tools and a little imagination.
Floating green always works well in a pool.
But this blow requires a little more skill…
Girlfriend
You can, of course, try to convince your girlfriend to play golf while on vacation. But the question then is whether it is wise to do “Bana” in the leadership field. Warning: This may result in a short stay on the ‘LUV Tour’.
Golf in America
Have you ever played (on vacation) in the US with an American? Golf is experienced a little differently than the average golf course in the Netherlands or even Europe. Conor Moore, readers of this column know him from previous contributions, summed it up perfectly in three minutes on Independence Day…

Therefore, this American will know how to deal with this dilemma of regulation.
Golf & Guinness
Speaking of vacation. Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas and Ricky Fowler took a break last week to play some training sessions in Ireland. just for fun. With the accompanying pint of Guinness afterwards…
Enjoy the local atmosphere. At Lahinch, even a goat ran on its back unhindered…

Those other goats, referenced in the tweet, also arrived in Ireland this week for a small Pro-Am on the track where the Ryder Cup will be played in a few years time, Adare Manor. This gave us picture of the week moment…

Americans in the UK and Ireland prepare for the 150th edition of The Open, in just under two weeks in St Andrews, Scotland.
From tennis to golf
Of course, we’re also watching Wimbledon with a gusto this week and cheering on our Sweetspot friend Rafael Nadal. We don’t have to explain anymore that the Spaniard is great, but he’s a great ambassador for golf. Even when it comes to tennis, Rafa always manages to spin it, turning the topic of conversation into golf. Last week, Nadal said again that he regretted that Tiger had played so little. It also changed his life as a fan.

Carlos Sainz
Last week we had a motocross racer with a swing, and this week we spotlighted Carlos Sainz who won his first Formula 1 race at Silverstone on Sunday. Driver with driver, this looks very nice.

Now of course we have to wait for Max Verstappen. Who will take our racing champion to the golf course?
