Dutch winter sports brand Goldbergh has joined forces with ski product Volant Skis. This is an exclusive co-op collection: as of December 4th, only 30 pairs of gold-tone skates with identical poles will be available for sale worldwide. Goldbergh skates from Volant, part of Atomic, one of the world’s largest skate manufacturers, are handcrafted in Austria.
Skis will be available for purchase at select retailers including Skihut in The Hague (Netherlands), Strolz in Lech (Austria), Snow Emotion in Paris (France), Snow & Rock in London (UK) and Gorsuch in Aspen (US )) ). A Goldbergh spokesperson said when asked that a pair of skis cost 3,000 euros.
It’s not the glamorous winter sports brand’s first collaboration from Amsterdam. Last year Goldbergh teamed up with Moonboot. “We try to find the right option by working with other brands (sports / ski) that are known to be the best and most popular in their category. When you think of winter sports shoes, you automatically think of Moonboot and when you think of if you think you have the most beautiful skis, they will come To Volant. Hence these choices,” a FashionUnited spokesperson said. “We definitely intend to continue these kinds of collaborations.”
