Google Maps brings a new update. Traveling should now be more fun with many new features.
Whether it’s traffic conditions or quickly finding the right pastry chef on the way to your aunt’s house – Google Maps is a lifesaver in many situations. Just in time for Christmas, Google is announcing three new features. In addition to better organization, these should also bring a lot of fun to users.
In the hustle and bustle of a big city or in a foreign city, using public transportation can often be very confusing. Google wants to help update trends. Using key factors such as arrival time, number of transfers and trip length, the user should be able to find a mode of transportation that suits them more specifically. If you prefer to take the bus instead of the train or want to walk a shorter distance, you can customize the route using filters.
Another innovation that makes train travel easier is visualization of the entrances and exits of train stations. In more than 80 cities around the world, passengers can now see the exact side of the street where the entrances are and what the road leading there looks like. This reduces the risk of boarding the wrong train.

An update to the list function should make it possible to share places with friends and vote on group activities. It has been possible for some time to add an emoji to lists of favorite places stored in Maps. For example, with snowboarding for the best places to snowboard on the weekend. With the new update, you can share your favorite places with friends and create a shared list directly. You can then use emojis to vote on where to meet for snowboarding this weekend.

The third new feature brings a lot of fun. You can now respond to photos, videos and reviews with emojis and thus indicate your approval or disagreement to other users. In some cases, you can create particularly fun blending interactions. For example, if you see a pumpkin muffin that makes your mouth water and respond to it with a Yum emoji, it will blend in with the bread.
According to Google, the three new features will be rolled out to Android and iOS in the next few weeks.
