Haas team boss Guenther Steiner believes there is room for more races in the US than the three races planned next season. Las Vegas will be the third race in the country in 2023, along with Miami and the Circuit of the Americas.
The goal of the three Grands Prix is to achieve a different goal in each event. For example, COTA will be a traditional weekend getaway, Miami will focus more on celebrities and Las Vegas should take over the glitz and glam of Monaco. Before next weekend in Austin, Steiner suggested that three races in the United States still wasn’t enough.
‘something for everyone’
“I would say Kuta is for the hardcore fans,” Steiner begins. “They’ve been here for ten years now and everyone loves going there, it’s a great track, a great event and a great city. Miami is Miami, we had a lot of people this year, maybe more than a lot and it too was a great event but it was just different, it was Like a big festival I don’t know what Las Vegas is going to be like, but it’s also going to be a big one and we always have to remember that the US is a big country and then I think three races is really a big thing,” Haas’ team chief said.
It sees the distinguishing factors and thus states that there is something for every fan. “There is something for everyone and I think each event has something special. Two of them did a great job and I’m sure Las Vegas will do well too,” Steiner continued.
