Thierry Henry leaving as a coach from Canadian Club Montreal. The Frenchman gave up his contract with the Major League Soccer club due to “personal circumstances”. Remarkable: a few days ago he was tied to the vacant position in Bournemouth.
“I made this decision with the pain of my heart,” Henry said on the Montreal Club website upon leaving. “The past year has been very difficult for me personally. The global pandemic has made it impossible for me to see my children. The current restrictions mean the next few months will not be different in the United States.”
Henry points out that losing his children is a big problem for him. “That is why I decided to return to London. I want to thank the fans, the players and the staff, they made me feel so welcome.”
The news comes a few days after the engagement of Henry Bournemouth in England, who said goodbye to coach Jason Tindall some time ago. It appears to be an excellent opportunity for Henry to return to work close to home.
