Dutch absurd horror film De Kuthoer with the title role of Katia Herbers will be shown in Great Britain and Ireland. The film can be watched in theaters and online from March 12th. British cinemas are currently closed.

The film was purchased by distributor Vertigo Releasing, who also recently released Associate (Kitty Green) and Stardust (Gabriel Range). The film can be watched in theaters and online from March 12th.
In De Kuthoer, writer and author Femke (Herbers) is flooded every day with anonymous nasty messages on social media, and then decides to take revenge on her “reactants”.

The film is directed by Ivo van Aart (Locked Out TV series, Suspicious Minds) and written by Daan Windhorst (Missie Earth TV series, Locked Out). The film was produced by NL Film in co-production with BNNVARA and achieved with the help of CoBO. Kuthoer was previously sold to the United States, Canada, South Korea, Spain, and Australia and recently won the Audience Award at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Canada. In the Netherlands, the movie can be watched via NPO Start.
