Hungarian left-winger Kevin Csoboth will not be joining FC Twente. The striker has been linked with a move to FC Twente for the second year in a row this summer, but he is on his way to Switzerland, according to Hungarian website NemzetiSport. The Hungary international, who was active at the European Championships in Germany this summer, is said to have already reached a personal agreement with FC St. Gallen, last season’s number five. The club will reportedly have to transfer just over €1m to Ujpest FC, his employer in Hungary.
Earlier this summer, Arnold Bruggink appointed Seif Latif as Twente’s new left winger. The Tunisian international arrived from FC Basel, but it seems he has to admit he is ahead of Mitchell van Bergen at the moment. He is making good preparations and seems to be preferred to Latif. Bruggink announced earlier this summer that he wanted to add an additional left winger to the squad, but with Latif and van Bergen competing, this is no longer the manager’s top priority.
