“Is this the unit?”
I can't believe what game director Philippe Koulianos is telling me. Because what I saw on my screen for half an hour, and what I'm playing as part of a four-person co-op team, looks so beautiful, so fluid and impressive.
for unit drive. And for a development team of only 12 people, like the Swedes at Keepsake Games.
But Jump Ship is a technical marvel. And if my intuition acquired over nearly 20 years as a video game editor doesn't fool me, it will also be a huge hit on Steam. do not you think so? Check out the trailer:

Crashing space action and brutal co-op combat: Jump Ship really takes off
As the only German-speaking journalist in the world, I was able to play Jump Ship alongside the developers and ask questions: for two missions, in a spaceship, flying with a jetpack and hook, and on foot, because the newly announced plan links the op-title to these levels Without any transition.
It's a bit like Star Citizen, although the humble Swedes at Keepsake Games shy away from the comparison for good reason. Their game is interesting at least to me as a space fan.
It's like music to co-op players' ears
Until recently, Jump Ship was called Hyperspace and started out as a fun after-work project. But even before the official announcement, the game has already amassed over 5,000 members on its Discord channel and based on what I've seen and played previously, there will be many more in the near future.
At least when space fans from all over the world see how smooth the action-packed games in Jump Ship are. Because here you can seamlessly switch from the cockpit to space battles, walk along the hull of your spaceship and take off into the air with a jetpack. Alone – or with up to three players in online co-op.
